GERMAN WWII THIRD REICH MEDALS IN BOXES
A lot of two German Third Reich medals in the boxes. First is the infantry assault badge, in German Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, was a German military decoration awarded to Waffen SS and Wehrmacht soldiers during the Second World War. This decoration was instituted on 20 December 1939 by the Commander in Chief of the German Army, Generalfeldmarschall Walther von Brauchitsch. It could be awarded to members of infantry and mountain infantry units that had participated in infantry assaults, with light infantry weapons, on at least three separate days of battle in the front line on or after 1 January 1940. In the box. Second is the Iron Cross 1939, in German Eisernes Kreuz, was a military decoration in the Kingdom of Prussia, and later in the German Empire. Adolf Hitler restored the Iron Cross on 1 September 1939 as a German decoration, and continued the tradition of issuing it in various classes.
