Black-and-white lithograph on paper. American, ca. 1870s to 1880s. The artwork represents a portrait of Ulysses S. Grant, 1822 to 1885, the 18th president of the United States. He is depicted with a child on his lap and dog by his side in landscape scenery. Titled Grant in Peace in the bottom middle. After A.B. Walter, 1820 to 1875, an American engraver. Oval format.
