ANTIQUE JAPANESE MEIJI IMARI PORCELAIN SERVING BOWL
An antique Japanese Imari-style porcelain serving bowl. Late Meiji era, before 1912. White footed dish with hand-painted cobalt blue, gold, green, and red decor. Floral patterns, architectural elements, central rooster motif. Fine detail work. Seal mark on the bottom. Imari ware is a Western term for a brightly-coloured style of Japanese export porcelain from the Arita region in the 17-18th centuries. Collectible Asian Oriental Tableware And Serveware.
