PERSIAN SILVER BOX OF THE IRANIAN PAHLAVI DYNASTY
An antique Persian silver box of the Pahlavi dynasty. The rectangular box with a large relief plant pattern in the corners. The hinged lid is decorated with an image of a crown, and Islamic text is engraved on the inside. The bottom of the box is marked Tetard Paris. The Persian Pahlavi Dynasty was the last Iranian dynasty, reigning for almost 54 years from 1925 to 1979. The dynasty was founded by and assumed the name of Reza Shah Pahlavi, a modern non aristocratic Mazanderani military officer. Collectible Oriental Islamic Decor, Vanity Items And Silverware.
