Georges Gaudy, Belgian, 1872 to 1940, an original antique lithographic poster on linen, Circuit International Automobile Club De France Art Nouveau poster Inventive art for this race event taking place at Spa depicting portrait of ladies. Signed in the print, lower left. Marked in the print, Lith. J.E. Goossens, Bruxelles Lille, lower left. Has tax stamp, with cancellation showing 1906 date. Framed. Georges Gaudy was a Belgian poster artist, painter and champion cyclist. Gaudys first poster was commissioned for the Brussels Velodrome and many of his works featured bicycle and car manufacturers.
