ANTIQUE 19 C EMILE PINEDO FRENCH ORIENTALIST BRONZE
An antique French late 19th century Orientalist bronze by Emile Pinedo, French, 1840 to 1916, titled: Arabe en Marche or Walking Arab. The sculpture depicts an Arab man wearing a turban and a robe with a knife at his waist, and a walking stick across his shoulders. Beautiful bronze patina at Arab clothing and different colors on his body and rectangle base. Signed to the base: Pinedo; with the foundry mark and stamped: Made in France.
