LARGE RUSSIAN SILVER GILT CLOISONNE ENAMEL KOVSH
A Russian silver gilt cloisonne enamel kovsh. Kovsh is a traditional oval-shaped drinking vessel or ladle with a single handle. The item has a rounded body with a hooked decorated handle and a pronounced front. Decorated throughout with elaborate stylized Pan Slavic floral motifs in polychrome and shaded cloisonne enamel patterns. Hallmarked on the bottom with an 84 Russian Imperial silver standard and the Cyrillic makers mark. Russian Decorative Collectibles, Silver Wares, Table Wares For Home Decor. Total weight: 195 g.
