RUSSIAN SILVER GILT ENAMEL PAINTED OVAL BOX
A Russian oval shaped 84 silver gilt and enamel casket box. Features a gold washed interior. The exterior of the box is enameled with stylized Neo Russian geometrical and floral patterns in white, blue, green, red, purple, and pink shades made in the Cloisonne technique, and adorned with a hand painted miniature The Bay of Naples after the original oil painting by Ivan Aivazovsky.
