RUSSIAN OIL PAINTING BY NIKOLAI SINEZOUBOFF 1952 - Nikolai Sinezouboff, Russian, Soviet, 1891 to 1956, an oil on board painting, Woman in a courtyard, 1952. Signed in Latin and dated lower left. Framed. Stamped verso. Note: Nikolai Sinezubov was a Russian artist, painter, and graphic artist. His work combined elements of expressionism, neo-primitivism and Cezanne. At the turn of the 1910s and 1920s, he was a prominent figure and left his mark on many artistic movements. He exhibited his works at the exhibitions of the Moscow Association of Artists, 1918, 1922, the Mir iskusstva (1921, 1922), and the Exhibition of Four together with V. V. Kandinsky, A. M. Rodchenko and V. F. Stepanova (1920), participated in the First Russian Art Exhibition at the Van Diemen Gallery in Berlin (1922). One of a kind artwork.
