LIMITED EDITION DIVINE COMEDY WOODCUT BY SALVADOR DALI
Color woodcut print on paper by Salvador Dali, 1904 to 1989, a Spanish Surrealist painter. The artwork depicts two abstract figures by a tree. Titled Purgatory 24, Tree of Punishment. From a series of illustrations made by the artist for the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri. Ca. 1960 to 1963. Signature printed in the plate, bottom middle. Limited edition of 3000, published by Joseph Foret and the Heures Claires, realized by Unione Editoriale, Italy. White mat, silver frame. Collectible Modernist Graphic Art, Illustration.
