The artwork depicts a panoramic view of a Middle Eastern market with a mosque in the background. Signed by the artist in the lower right. From the late 1890s to the early 1900s, Sommer worked extensively in Central Asia, including Tashkent, Bukhara, and Samarkand. Collectible Oriental Fine Art, Genre Painting.
