A rare antique advertising poster designed by Thor Bøgelund Jensen. Artist's signature at the lower left. Published by Andreasen and Lachmann, 1920.
Thor Bøgelund Jensen (1890-1959) - is a Danish artist who worked primarily with posters. In Denmark he became the pioneer of poster art as a commercial art. His works are simple and monumental and had a very strong influence on the art of the Danish poster of the 20th century.
