RUSSIAN SILVER ENAMEL DIAMONDS GARNETS OWL PILLBOX - A highly collectible Russian gilt silver pill box modeled as a finely detailed owl, the eyes are set with cabochon cut garnet gemstones. Decorated with a green guilloche band below. The hinged lid is also covered with green guilloche enamel and features an applied double headed Imperial eagle set with diamonds and garnet cabochons. The clasp is also adorned with diamonds. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian silver standard, a kokoshnik mark and other Russian hallmarks.
