A Russian hand painted icon of Theotokos, Mother Of God Vladimirskaya, the earliest known surviving and one of the most revered miraculous icons of the Russian Orthodox Church. A mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on wood board. Inscribed in Church Slavonic, upper right and left. Circa: 20th century. Antique Russian Religious Items and Collectibles.
