ANTIQUE RUSSIAN GILT SILVER NIELLO CUP AND SAUCER
A rare and fine quality antique Imperial Russian gilt silver tea cup and saucer set decorated with intricate hand engraved and nielloed motifs in Neo Russian style. Both pieces are hallmarked with an 84 Imperial Russian silver standard, kokoshnik mark and the makers mark MT, possibly for Tarasov Mikhail Yakovlevich, owner of a silverware workshop, 1905-1914.
