The photo is signed by Yuri Gagarin and Valentina Tereshkova, lower to the center. Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin, 1934 to 1968 pilot cosmonaut of the USSR, military pilot of the 1st class, Colonel of the USSR Air Force, Hero of the Soviet Union. Valentina Vladimirovna Tereshkova, born 1937, a pilot cosmonaut of the USSR, Major General of aviation, the world's first female cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union.
