A vintage Judaica spice tower or Besamim box crafted in sterling silver with intricate swirling floral openwork designs on the body. The tapered stem base and the flag on top of the spire add to the towers regal appearance. The spice tower serves a unique purpose in Jewish tradition, as it is used during the Havdalah ceremony, which marks the end of the Sabbath and the beginning of the new week. Its elegant design, with swirling floral motifs, reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail that are often associated with Judaica art. Hallmarked with 925 sterling silver mark. Weight: 49 g.
