Two antique Russian wood carved bread plates with sheave images. One is inscribed with the message Give us this day our daily bread and the other has the inscription What the house is rich in, the house is happy in, both in Russian. In Russian culture, bread is a symbol of sustenance, prosperity, and hospitality. These plates not only served a practical purpose but also carried a profound message about the importance of sharing and gratitude.
