ANTIQUE GERMAN MEISSEN PORCELAIN GROUP W CHERUBS
A highly detailed antique German Meissen porcelain sculptural group depicting two cherubs on a rock under the tree. The boy cherub is depicted sharpening golden arrows at a whetstone wheel and attended by a girl cherub holding an arrow, seated beside a basket filled with more arrows, scissors and a heart. Neatly hand-painted and accented with gilding. Stamped with a crossed swords mark in underglaze blue, impressed 49, incised E26. Circa 1850 to 1924.
