WWII NAZI GERMAN 3RD REICH WAFFEN SS BAYONET DAGGER
A WWII Nazi German Third Reich Leibstandarte Waffen SS ceremonial bayonet dagger with a black painted steel and leather scabbard. A black bakelite grip, and a stainless steel blade. The handle is made in a shape of a head of an eagle. The blade is engraved with an inscription in German, Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler, SS runes, surrounded by oak leaves, on the one side; and engraved with inscription and date, Meinemtreuen Kampfer 25.12.39, and Hitlers signature, to My Loyal Fighter Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. Inscribed on the scabbard. LSSAH was Hitlers personal bodyguard, such bayonets were presented to Hitlers personal guards on Christmas in 1939.
