RUSSIAN IMPERIAL COSSACK PERSONAL CONVOY CHERKESKA
A Russian Imperial period Terek Cossack Personal Convoy cherkeska. Circa: late 19th century to the early 20th century. Made of beige cotton. Tailored at the waist with gathers and gathers. Usually girdled with a narrow belt. The sleeves are long and flared down. On the chest on both sides are sewn with sixteen yellow fabric gazyrs, nests for rifle cartridges, which were later replaced by wooden tubes.
