1980 RUSSIAN CITYSCAPE PAINTING BY DMITRY BUCHKIN
Dmitry Petrovich Buchkin, Russian, born 1927, watercolor on paper painting depicting a cityscape view. Signed lower right by the artist. Titled Old Erfurt and dated September 13, 1980 lower left. Matted. Dmitry Petrovich Buchkin is a Soviet Russian painter, a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists, who lives and works in Saint Petersburg. He is also regarded as one of the representatives of the Leningrad school of painting, being best known for his genre and landscape paintings.
