RUSSIAN GILT SILVER ENAMEL AND JADE LETTER OPENER
A Russian Neoclassical paper knife or letter opener in the style of a Roman gladius sword. The blade is made of polished jade. The gilt silver handle is decorated with blue guilloche enamel, Imperial eagle overlay and semiprecious stones. The handle has an elephant finial with gemstone eyes.
