CAPODIMONTE PORCELAIN FIGURINE BY GIUSEPPE ARMANI
A rare original Italian Capodimonte Art Deco white porcelain figurine, Florence, by Giuseppe Armani, Italian, 1935 to 2006. The figurine depicts a lady with flowers and a dove, adorned with hand painted facial features. Mounted on a sculptural base. Signed, G. Armani, and marked with a blue ink manufacturer mark, on the sculpture. Marked with an impressed stamp, Florence, and copyright 1987. Mounted on a lacquered wooden stand. Giuseppe Armani was a famous Italian sculptor and artist. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence and became well known from his artwork at the Art Gallery in Pisa. In 1973 he associated with the Florence Sculpture dArte in Tuscany. Armanis works are known worldwide for their detail, life, and colors.
