Robert Rafailovich Falk, Russian, 1886 to 1958, oil painting on board depicting a herd of horses in a landscape. Signed upper right. Circa: the early 20th century. Framed. Robert Rafailovich Falk is a Russian, Soviet era, painter who uniquely combined the paths of Russian Art Nouveau and avant-garde in his work; one of the most famous artists of the Jewish theater in Yiddish. Robert Falk was one of the founders and the most active participants of the artistic group Jack of Diamonds.
