RUSSIAN 88 SILVER GILT CLOISONNE ENAMEL EGG BOX - A finely crafted Russian silver egg shaped trinket box bearing a gilt wash interior and a silver exterior with raised shaded cloisonne enamel stylized floral motifs. Set with a large round cabochon cut ruby and amethyst gemstones to the top and bottom. Raised on a silver footed figural dragonflies feet stand. Hallmarked with an 88 Imperial Russian silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right and other Russian hallmarks.
