The artwork depicts a nice kabuki portrait of Sawamura Chojuro V as a samurai standing beside his horse and holding the bridle of the animal. Matted and framed. Note: Utagawa Kunisada was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist. He is considered the most popular, prolific and commercially successful designer of ukiyo-e woodblock prints in 19th-century Japan.
