FRENCH GILT BRONZE SCULPTURE BY EUGENE MARIOTON
Eugene Marioton, French, 1857 to 1933, gilt bronze sculpture, Marguerite, depicting a young woman sitting with an umbrella. Mounted on a rectangular shaped base. Signed, Eug. Marioton, on the base. Inscribed and dated, Salon deBeaux Arts 1887, on the side of the base. Eugene Marioton is known for Heroic figurative sculpture, portrait bust, medals. Eugene Marioton was born in 1854, in Paris.
