Georgi Bashinzhagyan, Armenian, 1857 to 1925, oil on canvas landscape painting depicting the mount Ararat, a snow capped and dormant volcano in the extreme east of Turkey. Signed by the artist lower left. Circa the early 20th century. Framed. Georgy Zakharovich Bashinzhagyan is known for misty and nocturnal landscape and waterscape painting.
