ANTIQUE DUTCH IMARI STYLE KAKIEMON SHALLOW PLATE
An unusual antique early 18th-century Dutch porcelain plate with high rims. White plate with hand-painted Kakiemon floral decor in underglaze blue and overglaze red. Kakiemon is a sub-style of Japanese Imari and Arita ware with overglaze decoration. It was highly prized in the West and widely imitated by major European porcelain manufacturers during the Rococo period. Collectible Rare Tableware And Decor, Delft Porcelain.
