ANTIQUE RUSSIAN CRIMEAN WAR SILVER CHAPLAIN CROSS
An antique Russian Crimean War silver chaplain cross with rays between the arms and a loop for suspension at the top. Features the dates 1953 to 1956 as well as the monograms of Nicholas I and Alexander II of Russia. With the lettering in Russian to the reverse. The Cross was instituted on 26 August 1856 to commemorate the end of the Crimean War and is known in the official documentation as the Cross to the Clergy for the Eastern War. Wight: 31 g.
