Vera Vladimirovna Khlebnikova, Russian, Soviet era, 1891 to 1941, gouache painting on paper, The Portrait of Moisey Solomonovich Askinazi. Signed lower right. Titled upper right. Moisey Solomonovich Askinazi, 1901 to 1947, was a Russian Soviet graphic. Studied at Vkhutemas. Vera Vladimirovna Khlebnikova, a Russian artist, graphic artist, Avant Garde artist. Sister of the poet Velimir Khlebnikov. In mid 1912 she attended an academy in Paris, where she studied with Kees van Dongen. From the spring of 1913 to the middle of 1916 she lived in Italy. In 1922 she began working on a series of illustrations based on the works of Velimir Khlebnikov, Mermaid, Wind, Vila, Leshak. All circa: 1920s. Along with other works, they were shown at the exhibition of the group of artists United Art, 1925. Moscow. In the future, in the field of book graphics, she worked together with her husband P.V.
