1876 AMERICAN MARINE PAINTING BY CONRAD FREITAG - Conrad Freitag, American, 1843 to 1894, a marine watercolor painting on paper depicting people on the seashore watching a ship. Singed by the artist and dated 1876 lower left. Matted and framed. Conrad Freitag was a German American marine artist from Brooklyn, New York. He was best known for his portraits of New York pilot boats. Freitags works were exhibited at the National Academy and the Brooklyn Art Association. Antique American Marine Paintings For Collectors.
