A Russian letter opener knife featuring a gilt silver blade with open through floral patterns at the base and a blue guilloche enameled handle surmounted with a crowned double headed eagle on top and a silver band with chiseled floral patterns. Hallmarked to the blade with an 88 Imperial Russian silver standard, a kokoshnik mark and other Russian hallmarks.
