An antique Persian painting on leather mounted on papier mache base. Late Safavid dynasty, mid-18th century. The artwork depicts two lovers, Khosrow and Shirin, the characters of a tragic romance by poet Nizami. Rare piece, fine detail work. Collectible Oriental Fine Art, Persian Miniature.
