CHINESE PAINTING ON PORCELAIN AFTER CASTIGLIONE
A vintage Chinese painting on porcelain. Vertical rectangular plaque. The piece depicts a dog against a yellow background. After and original Qing dynasty artwork titled Picture of Cangshuiqiu, a Chinese greyhound, from Ten Prized Dogs Album by Giuseppe Castiglione, 1688 to 1766, an Italian Jesuit brother, missionary in China and artist. Hieroglyphical inscriptions and artists seals in the upper and lower corners. Black wooden frame. Collectible Oriental Asian Fine Art, Wall Plaques.
Dimensions: Framed 34 1/4 x 20 in. All measurements are approximate.
