ANTIQUE 19TH C AUSTRIAN NAPOLEON PORCELAIN PLATE
An antique late 19th century Austrian porcelain cabinet plate decorated with transfer image with hand painted retouches depicting Napoleon Bonaparte receives the Queen of Prussia at Tilsit, July 6, 1807, featuring Czar Alexander I of Russia and her husband, King Frederick William III of Prussia, after the painting by Nicolas Gosse, French, 1787 to 1878. The green rim is decorated with gilded Empire motifs. Marked to the bottom with a crowned letter N, Napoleon 1er et la Reine de Prusse a Tilsit, and the initial W surrounded by a laurel wreath, all above AUSTRIA.
