RUSSIAN 84 SILVER GEM SET HUNTING EGG W WILD BOAR
A fine Russian silver hunting egg. The exterior features repousse decorations depicting wild boar heads and hunting trophies on the lid and oak leaves on the bottom, also set with gem stone cabochons of various colors and surmounted by an Imperial crown. The interior features a silver figurine depicting the head of a wild boar. Hallmarked with an 84 Russian silver standard, George the Victorious for Moscow, an assay mark under the date 1878 and the makers mark.
