RUSSIAN ABSTRACT PHOTOGRAPH BY ALEXANDER SAMOILOV
Alexander Samoilov, born 1950, Russian photographer. An abstract black and white photo print. Titled Pandora, dated 1979 and signed on the back. Comes in a cardboard folder, also signed and with a handwritten dedication in Russian: Moscow, April 1989, for Petrov as a keepsake. Art Photography For Collectors. Provenance: Anna Feltsman Estate. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman 1921-2013 was a Russian Ukrainian-born composer of Lithuanian Jewish descent. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born in 1952 a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman.
Dimensions: Paper 11 3/4 x 9 3/8 in. All measurements are approximate.
