CHINESE MEIJI ENAMEL AND JADE AMULET TEA CANISTER
An antique Chinese Meiji era lidded enamel metal tea canister. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. The exterior of the ware is enameled with polychrome floral, scrollwork and geometrical patterns made in the Champleve technique. The lid is adorned with a hand carved white Jade amulet made in an openwork design and adorned with engraved motifs. Unmarked.
