ANTIQUE RUSSIAN ICON OF THREE SAINTS IN GILT RIZA - An antique 19th-century Russian Orthodox icon representing Saint Vlas, Prophet Elijah, and Saint Antip blessed by Jesus Christ. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wood board. The icon is covered with a gilt metal riza or oklad, a protecting case with repousse decor. Each saint is named on the riza.
