Dmitry Petrovich Buchkin, Russian, born 1927, watercolor on paper painting depicting a winter cityscape view to the canal. Signed by the artist and dated 1980 lower right. Dmitry Petrovich Buchkin is a Soviet Russian painter, a member of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists, who lives and works in Saint Petersburg. He is also regarded as one of the representatives of the Leningrad school of painting, being best known for his genre and landscape paintings.
