An antique 18K Gold lever filler fountain Cardinal pen by Waterman. Model Ideal No. 56. A red body with a flat topped cap with golden details, and a 18K Gold nib. Marked with a Watermans Ideal hallmark, Clip Cap mark, and a standard Gold hallmark, on the clip. Marked with a Watermans Ideal Reg. U.S. Pat. Off. hallmark on the nib. Circa: 1920s to 1930s.
