FRENCH EMPIRE GILT BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK WITH LYRE
An antique 19th-century French Empire gilt bronze wind-up mantel clock. The footed pedestal is garnished with a relief depicting dancing putti and Erato, the Ancient Greek muse of poetry, with lyre. The rectangular clock case with guilloche dial is placed on top of the pedestal. A relief book shelf decorates the bottom part. The case is flanked by a figurine of Erato with lyre, horn, and music sheets. Collectible Decor For Neo Classic Interior Design.
