Signed lower right. Framed. Emile Eisman Semenowsky is a Russian, Polish and French, known for Female portrait and figure painting. Semenowsky was influenced by oriental subjects, a widespread phenomenon in French 19th century art. His favourite subjects were depictions of women in oriental and antique-style costumes and genre scenes.
