A rare and fine antique French hand crafted colored wax cameo depicting profile portraits of King Louis XVI and Queen Marie Antoinette on a deep aquamarine ground. Illegibly signed and dated 1774 to the shoulder of the king. Housed in an old oval gilt wood and gesso frame decorated with lyres and floral arrangements.
