RUSSIAN IMPERIAL GILT SILVER ENAMEL FRAME
A Russian Imperial gilt silver rectangular shaped frame with the central oval shaped space for a picture on a guilloche enameled surface within decorated rims. Surrounded by a laurel wreath wrapped by diamond ribbons on top and featuring two mythological griffins to the bottom with a gemstone in between. Embellished with two garlands with cabochon stones upper and surmounted with the crown. Hallmarked to the back with manufacturer and 84 silver proof marks. In the original box. Total weight: 242 g.
