RUSSIAN LITHOGRAPH OF MIKHOELS BY GAVRIIL GLIKMAN
Gavriil Glikman (Gabriel Glikmann), a lithograph print depicting the portrait of Solomon Mikhoels, 1977. Signed and dated in pencil by the artist lower right. Gavriil Davidovich Glikman, 1913 to 2003, was a Russian artist and sculptor who emigrated from the USSR in 1980. The brother of the professor of the Leningrad Conservatory Isaac Glikman. Provenance: Feltsman Family, Oscar Feltsman was a Russian composer, and his son Vladimir is a musician. Vladimir purchased art directly from the artist. Russian Prints For Collectors. Provenance: Anna Feltsman Estate. Feltsman family: Oscar Feltsman, 1921 to 2013, was a Russian composer of Jewish descent born in Odessa. He was the father of Vladimir Feltsman, born in 1952 a Russian-American classical pianist. Anna Feltsman was the first wife of Vladimir Feltsman.
