MID CENT JUDAICA HANS TEPPICH GILT BRASS MEZUZAH
A 1950s Modernist gilt and patinated brass mezuzah. The case is decorated with a quote from the Shema Yisrael prayer in Hebrew. Hallmark Made in Israel Teppich is on the backside of the item. Hans Teppich, 1904 to 1983, was a German-Israeli artist. Mezuzah is a Jewish decorative case that contains a piece of parchment with the Gods name and is affixed to the doorpost. Dimensions: L 2 7/8 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
