A LEONARD BASKIN AMERICAN MIXED MEDIA PAINTING
Leonard Baskin (American, 1922-2000) pen and ink with gouache on paper painting, 1981. The painting consists of two parts: the upper part is a portrait of a man against a green background, and the lower part is a blue silhouette of a raven against a black background. Signed on the upper part of the painting: 'Baskin' at the lower right, and dated 1981 at the lower left. Provenance: Doyle New York Auctions, Doyle at Home/Modern, Wed, Sep 13, 2006, Lot 36.
Dimensions: Frame size: 34 x 27 3/4 in. Picture size: 22 x 15 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Small chips and gilt loss on a frame. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
